This is a great idea Lauren found on a blog for a quick meal, it's recipes that are designed for you to put all the ingredients into a freezer bag, when you're ready you thaw them out and pour everything into a slow cooker for 3-4 hours.

Ava is sleeping a lot during the day, but between 11PM -- 3AM is her busy time!

Lauren's parents stayed with us for the first couple of nights to help us get settled, it was a big help. Last night Lauren's parents had the idea to have a feast to celebrate Ava. Lauren's dad called Chez Nous which is one of the top french restaurants in Texas and made special arrangements for the chef to create a takeout menu, something they normally do not do. They made an exception once he told them our situation.

Appetizers were a Charcutiere Platter of Rosette de Lyon, Homemade Duck Prosciutto, Truffled Chicken Mousse, Pork Rillette and a Country Terrine of Veal and Duck spiked with Green Peppercorns and Cointreau as well as a Fresh Blue Crab, Mango, Avocado and Tomato Tower

Main course: Grilled Breast of Muscovy Duckling, Leg Confit, Burgundy Poached Pear, Citrus Glaze and it’s Shepherd’s Pie and Chateaubriand, roasted Tenderloin of Beef, Sauce Bearnaise.

Appetizer wine was a California Pinot, and with the main courses a Sangiovese.

It was an awesome meal.
